The Beehive turns Solar System

Looks like the French revolutionary theme is a thing of the past now. Chris Martin has reportedly asked the band's crew to build a solar system in their new studio, The Beehive.

A source said: "Chris likes to create a certain mood when he's in full creative flow.

"He had a real interest in 18th Century revolutionary politics when he was piecing together Viva La Vida. Now he's really got into the universe."

Roadie #42 has also posted a blog on the official site quoting Chris saying "I've got a little project for you... I'd like you to build a solar system..."

I guess we should be on the lookout for a more cosmic sound on the new album then eh?

Chris Martin, the guitar teacher

If only all guitar teachers looked like this eh? *ahem*. Gwyneth Paltrow said in a recent interview for Harper's Bazaar that she found herself in the embarrassing position of asking husband, Chris Martin, for help when she had to learn to play guitar for her new movie "Love Don't Let Me Down".

She said: "He was so helpful, so sweet and encouraging. I mean, it's embarrassing to be playing in front of your husband, especially when he's in one of the world's most successful bands."

"He is so great because he's so supportive of me as an artist. I really lucked out with him. He's deeply lovely and special."

The movie, in which Gwyneth plays an alcoholic country singer, is scheduled to come out later this year.

Coldplay take 10th place on The People's Artist Chart

If you have no problem with overplayed artists then you can thank Viva La Vida for this. If you do, then go ahead and sob.
Coldplay was the 10th artist with most plays from 2000-2009. I would like to believe that it had something to do with great, talented songs such as Politik or Clocks but obviously Viva La Vida has got a lot to say.
The list, calculated based on plays reported to Phonographic Performance Limited, is as follows:

1. Madonna
2. The Beatles
3. Robbie Williams
4. Queen
5. Take That
6. Sugababes
7. Elton John
8. Elvis Presley
9. Abba
10. Coldplay
